About
We Are The Largest Valheim community server. Est. 2021
Who We Are
We have a dedicated staff of volunteers and the server is owned by a game developer who created the Anti-Cheat mod we use. He is very active and keeps the mod updated with each content patch. The community is primarily operated out of the Jotunheim Discord server. You’ll want/need to join the Discord server in order to be whitelisted. This is the only way to get access to the game server info, to stay up to date with events, and stay in contact with other Vikings.
Our Vision
The main goal of Jotunheim is twofold :
– Provide a Vanilla Valheim experience for all players to enjoy without fear of griefing or cheaters. We are selective in who we add to our community. Which is why we interview/whitelist every applicant. This is so we can maintain a safe and family-friendly environment inclusive of people from all walks of life. We keep extensive logs, have anti-cheat in place, lots of world save backups, and the ability to restore destroyed buildings without a rollback!
– To ensure everyone can experience the game as the developers intended. We have taken steps to ensure you get a day 1 experience whether you join on day 1 or day 12000. We’ve made slight tweaks to the game so everyone can enjoy natural progression from Eikthyr to end game regardless of when they join.

Big Ideas.
Jotunheim is filled with people who have big ideas. From Castle builders, to Bridge makers, and even Shop owners. The staff are constantly pushing the limits of the game to create unique and fun PvP and PvE events. Check out the #Events channel for details.

Our Server Events
Popup Shops
Trade in Trophies and purchase special Admin Shop spells! Check the #Events channel to see what turn-ins are accepted for each event.
Flea Markets
This event features player run booths and the Admin Shop. Flea Markets don’t happen very often, so check the #Events channel often so you don’t miss out!
The Arena
The classic Arena event. Make a bet with the event bookie. Viking vs Viking. We also have special scenarios for PvE Arena battles.
Thor’s Chariot
A dota inspired event. The event area has three lanes with various levels of difficulty The Goal: The Aesir must deliver Thor’s Chariot to the BiFrost before the Jotun destroy it!

Minimal downtime, regular server restarts to help with lag, which I have rarely encountered. Just vanilla but if you’re in it for a community, this is easily one of the best non-modded servers.

PvP Events and arenas with rankings and champions PvE enforced by both moderation and community Roleplay is so high, that on the server we have taverns, shops run by brothers, farms, dedicated hunters, lumberjacks and a lot more! The best community and the best server I ever played!!!

Awesome server! The community and staff that run the server are friendly and helpful. The owner, Odin, and the moderators that help him are professional and do their best to make the game experience the greatest. Ive been playing for a month now on the server and I have not had a single bad experience with them. Highly recommend them for any one trying to learn the game but also at the same time play with other people. They have kept the server as “vanilla” as possible so you can be assured that you wont have any weird rules to worry about.
Amazing server and community! Admins are really understanding. The village here is quickly growing and makes me feel like Im a part of a viking clan 🙂
